Assalam and a very goodmorning to my lecturer, and to all my fellow friends. As you know, my name is
Mohd amri, and I'm delighted to talk with you about a subject that's near and dear to all of us that is
Causes of autism.
----Entering introduction about topic ----
Firstly, i wanna ask u all. What comes to ur mind when a word called ‘autism’ is being heard or seen?
When you think about the autism, an imagination young infant will most probably pops out to your
mind. Yes. Autism is most like happen at children at their early of childhood. Ever meet with children
who are having this kind of symptom? Autism is a spectrum of closely related
disorders with a shared core of symptoms. Meaning, Kids with autism often can't
make connections that other kids make easily.
EXAMPLE: when someone smiles, you know the smiling person is happy or being friendly.
But a kid with autism may have trouble connecting that smile with the person's happy feelings.
However, knowing the exact causes of autism is hard because the human brain is very complicated but
some research had been figured out regarding this problem.
Autisme also delays in many basic areas of development such as learning
to talk, play, and interact with others.

Some scientists think that some kids might be more likely to get autism because it or similar disorders
run in their families. This is what we called genetic inheritance.
i) studies have shown that parents from families with autistic members
are more likely to have autistic children, and families with one autistic
child are at increased risk of having more than one autistic child.
ii) Apart from that, some scientists indicated that autism may be
developed from environmental surroundings like
iii) Examples of environmental causes would be exposure to toxins,
excessive ultrasounds during pregnancy, and even electronic devices. A
study by Connor, et al looked at the link between terbutaline and
autism. Terbutaline is a drug that is often used to stop pre-term labor
in pregnant women
Main point 2 : Ways to detect children suffering from autism
Just imagine what precautions will u take if u’re in a situation where a mother who is having a kid with
these kind of symptom? Figuring out if a kid has autism can be difficult sometimes. A parent is usually
the first to suspect that something is wrong with their kid who is sufferings autism. At the age of one, a
kid usually had already showing some signs that they’re having this symptoms and making
detection at them at this phase is the best. For example, if u r a mother or a father and ur
some ur-own-
having a kid and if u notice something wrong with ur child, better u make
check-ups on them. First, try to look on their facial
reactions on u. they will not make an eye contact with u or even looking at u whenever u are
around them. Then, if u threw them a smiled, they seem numb and do not smiled back at u. Usually for
their movements, they wont point or wave goodbye or use other gestures to
communicate. they will look too rigid on people. Another thing is , they dont follow the
gesture when you point things out. Often, for their social interactions with people, they do
not make noise to get ur attention. Compared to normal kid who is always tried to get their
parents attention by making such annoying noise. In addition, they do not reach out to be picked up
and they also do not play with other people or share interest and enjoyment. They prefer to stay alone
by themselves and wasting time by remained silence. Overall, the most obvious signs that u can see
apart from all the example had been given is,they dont initiate or respond to cuddling, They do not ask
for help or make other basic requests, they dont respond to his or her name or to the sound of a
familiar voice, they develop more slowly than other children of the same age and as what we
called(slow learner).lastly, they have lack of imagination – have problems in playing "pretend games"
or using their imagination.
Example: children playing Barbie dolls have high imagination but children with autism will refuse
to play those kind of toys because they would be most probably do not have idea how to play with it.
For your information people,
there is no exact cure for autism but doctors, therapists, and special teachers like us can help kids with
autism to overcome or adjust many difficulties in them. An early treatment on them is the better so that
when they are grown up to their childhood phase they will be completely recovering from it. How to
help them live a more to normal life? As u can see nowadays many special education school were built
and the good news is, children with autism are able to go to school like a normal kids do. Thus, the
school could provide better environment for them so that they will feel the world is belongs to them
without feeling any awkward confronting with people around them. In this case, teacher is the one who
play the biggest role. Plus, get an early intervention. As what have i mentioned earlier, make an early
own-check-ups on them at their age of one. Then, as they grow ups, parents should expose
them to the outside world. For example, mix them around with any people especially with
kids of the same age of them to make them used to society without being awkward. Lastly, parents
could send them to professional therapist to provide them with
emotional support. This is to make sure they can get enough and full support of emotional
problem.
