The "Atal Innovation Mission" has significant importance in fostering entrepreneurship by establishing a network of innovation hubs and incubators across educational institutions. It aims to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship by supporting start-ups, facilitating research and development in various sectors, and enhancing education with a focus on innovational thinking. This mission drives economic growth and job creation, aligning well with India's developmental goals .
As a think tank, Niti Aayog influences policy-making by providing strategic and technical advice, facilitating cooperative federalism, and acting as a knowledge and innovation hub. It assists in drafting policies aligned with national goals, evaluates existing programs, and recommends improvements. By collaborating with educational and research institutions, it ensures policies are informed by cutting-edge knowledge and best practices, thereby enhancing their relevance and effectiveness .
The composition of Niti Aayog is designed to reflect inclusive governance through the involvement of various stakeholders.
