Understanding the Partograph Usage

This document outlines how to monitor labor progress using a partograph. The partograph allows monitoring of cervical dilation, contractions, and maternal and fetal well-being to intervene if needed. It involves assessing progress every 4 hours and hourly monitoring of fetal heart tone, contractions, and other findings like amniotic fluid color. Alert lines on the partograph indicate when closer monitoring or referral is needed to avoid risks to the mother and baby.
