Read! Build! and Write!

Mats

What are Read, Build, and Write mats? They


are a fun way for you to squeeze in a little
extra learning with your child.

Print off one {or more} of the mats to use with


your child or in your classroom. There are
multiple colors of mats to choose from {why
be limited to one color?}. Here’s a summary
of how to use them:

Read: Place one of the cards in the top box and read the word
together.
Build: Use letter tiles or magnets to build the word in the second box.
Write: Finally, practice writing the word in the bottom box.

Laminate the mats for extra durability and use either letter magnets
{or fridge magnets} to build the word. You can also use the letter tiles
that are included in this pack to go along in the ‘building’ process.
