Each one of us possesses a personal heritage which
are the things that we treasures, our family house is one
of my personal heritage not only the house itself but
there are antic things like the old way of ironing clothes
the antic cabinets, the chairs ”galyanera” the trees near
the house like ”karamay, the small one papaya tree”(shown
in the picture) the flowering plants like mr and mrs, this
are the some this that I consider as my individual
heritage. In our religion we are Iglesia ni Cristo our
Grandmother and Grandfather are the one of the first
Iglesia ni Cristo in our barangay. Our family house is still
strong it is most likely called like a bahay na bato. The
ground floor is made up of bricks anf he upper part are
woods, the windows are still beautiful it is made up of
capiz shells, and when you look at the window you can see
the sea near our house it is a good scenery.

Each community possesses ac collective heritage which
it wants to safeguard buildings, patks, traditions,
archives, forms, landscapes, community skills and I
choose our town narvancan,ilocos sur.
Narvacan was discovered by a Spanish exexpiditionary
force sent from vigan by the military officer and
navigator, captain Juan de Salcedo. The Spanish
expeditionary force was shipwrecked alonf the town
coast. When they rescued by the natives, the
Spaniards asked the natives what wasthe name of their
place. The resident’s leader replied in an ilokano dialect
by asking the Spaniards “nalbakan?”(are you
shipwrecked?). the spaniards thought this to be answer
to their question, and from then on the place was
referred to as narvacan
The residents of narvacan are largely roman catholic.
A sizeable minority of Iglesia ni Cristo, Methodist
Christians, and jehova’s witnesses.
In narvacan theres one left bahay na bato according to
the care taker it was pass to generation by generation
we’ve interview the caretaker once in our project and
the other bahay na bato is a appliance center
