- Airport special procedure
8. Review Unruly Passenger/Bomb Threat on Ground Procedure
9. Managing all ground activities Ex: APU, Start engine with Pneumatic when gate hold
PUSHBACK
In case of starting one engine at the bay, delay start as long as possible before get pushback
clearance to save fuel
Before pushback, check N/W STRG DISC memo is displayed
In case of strong wind, consider pushback facing to the wind to avoid hot start
Monitor that aircraft is push into the right position as clearance
When supplement procedures for engine start are required, strictly follow checklists and
procedures and not to do it by memory
Monitor start sequence if any parameter is exceeded
When set parking brake, after pushback completed, check that brake indication is normal
TAXI

PICUS CHECKLIST
Before taxi, check N/W STRG DISC memo is disappeared
Monitor engine warm up time to avoid thermal shock if the runway in use is close to the parking
stand
Monitor taxi speed limit
Monitor frequency to be aware of nearby traffic
Manage brake temperature
Minimize number of brake application
Pay additional attention when taxi pass hot spots area as defined in chart for example cross
runway, intersection, and etc.
Before entering runway, make sure that clearance is received already and flight path is clear
TAKE OFF
Check & confirm Take off clearance
Apply correct Take off procedure according to SOP
Apply correct Ground control technique
