Answer the following questions. Your faculty will be randomly calling students for class
participation.

SOCIAL MEDIA ACTIVITY HERE

1. It has been said that many social media apps take advantage of loopholes to actually spy on
you. Explain this. What precautions can you take?
 Social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat have become
digital billboards for internet users. People love sharing their personal views and news about
what’s going on in their lives. Our social media account contains your important details and it
should be a must to create a strong password and always think before clicking because
social media accounts are regularly hacked. You should be mindful of the privacy policies
and consider installing antivirus software in your devices.

2. Technology is used daily, to communicate, to play, to be entertained and to learn. Explain the
impact on your learning, communication and entertainment by not having any technology.
 Technology is very important when it comes to education because the way we learn is
sometimes with technology, such as google classroom, Zoom calls, facetime, and videos.
Without technology, we wouldn’t be able to access online courses to learn many things, such
as investment or how to become an entrepreneur. We also wouldn’t be able to do research
online By not having technology, I could promote self-control and patience. I could be more
verbose, and more involved in discussions for not having technology promotes richer
socialization as it has become a social replacement in the current times. Without it, less
stress could manifest in me since I will be having less things in mind thus my focus will be
hastened. Technology on its downside, it could limit academic process as it also puts an
individual’s decision-making process at risk as much as improving it.
3. What do you think is the future of digital gaming? Explain your answer.
 Based on what I see Digital gaming has evolved tremendously through time and is
continuously on lead at the market. I think online and mobile games have a great impact on
its growth in the industry and as mobile and online games continue to flourish, digital gaming
will never come to a drop.

4. With the ongoing concerns of game addiction, identify at least 5 things on how a student should
manage not to get addicted to digital games.

 Set time limits for play and stick to them.

 Keep phones and other gadgets out of the bedroom so you won’t play into the night.
 Do other activities every day, including exercise. This will lower the health risks of sitting and
playing for long stretches of time
 Try applications that blocks access to games such as Game Boss, StayFocus, and Offtime.
 Let your family and friends know that you are trying to cut time that are spent on gamingand
ask them to check you from time to time.
