The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following
appointments/premature repatriations of officers at Joint Secretary/Joint Secretary equivalent level
with pay at Level 14 (.1,44,200 - 2,18,200/-) of the Pay Matrix:

(1) Appointment of Ms. Vijaya Lakshmi Nadendla, lAS (BH:1995) as Joint Secretary
Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, for a tenure of five years from the date of
assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Vivek
Aggarwal, lAS (MP:1994);

(2) Appointment of Shri Priya Ranjan, IFoS (RJ:1998) as Joint Secretary, Department of
Agriculture & Farmers Welfare for a tenure of five years from the date of assumption of the charge
of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier, vice Shri Atish Chandra, lAS (BH:1994);

(3) Appointment of Shri Pramod Kumar Meherda, lAS (OD:1997) as Managing Director,
National Food Security Mission (NFSM) under the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare
with additional charge of the post of Secretary, Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board
(ASRB) for a tenure of five years from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further
orders, whichever is earlier vice Ms. Neeraja Adidam, IFoS (UP:1990);

(4) Appointment of Shri Abhay Kumar Singh, lAS (BH:2004) as Joint Secretary, Ministry of
Cooperation for a combined tenure of seven years upto 30/08/2022 from the date of assumption of
the charge of the post, or until further orders, whichever is earlier against a newly created post;

(5) Appointment of Ms. Kavita Garg, IDAS (1999) as Joint Secretary, Ministry of AYUSH for a
tenure of five years from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders,
whichever is earlier, vice Shri PN Ranjit Kumar, IPoS (1993);

(6) Appointment of Ms. Kavita Singh, lAS (PB: 2004) as Joint Secretary, Cabinet Secretariat
for an overall tenure of five years upto 15/03/2025 from the date of assumption of the charge of the
post or until further orders, whichever is earlier, by temporarily upgrading the post of Director held by
the officer, to be further adjustable against a regular vacancy of Joint Secretary in the Cabinet
Secretariat;

(7) Appointment of Shri Vibhu Nayar, lAS (TN:1990) as Executive Director, India Trade
Promotion Organisation (ITPO) under the Department of Commerce for a tenure upto his
superannuation on 31/10/2025 from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further
orders, whichever is earlier vice Shri Rajesh Agarwal, lAS (MN:1994);

(8) Appointment of Shri Madnesh Kumar Mishra, IRS (IT) (1990) as Joint Secretary, Ministry
of Culture for a combined tenure of seven years upto 31/05/2023 from the date of assumption of the
charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier vice Ms. Nirupama Kotru, IRS (IT:1992);

(9) Appointment of Shri Dinesh Kumar, lAS (NL:2004) as Joint Secretary, Department of
Defence for an overall tenure of five years upto 06/12/2025 from the date of assumption of the charge
of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier vice Ms. Nidhi Chhibber, lAS (CG:1994);

(10) Appointment of Shri Sanjay Kumar, IA&AS (1995) as Additional FA & Joint Secretary,

(16) Appointment of Shri Neelesh Kumar Sah, IA&AS (1997) as Joint Secretary, Ministry of
