Group Assignment on Network Security/ 10%/

First, you need to install the Windows version of Wireshark software on your computer.
Wireshark is available for download at [Link] In this assignment, you will
be tested for your familiarity in using Wireshark for packet capture and analysis. Start packet
capture in the Wireshark application and then open your web browser and type in an URL of the
website of your choice ([Link], [Link], [Link], etc). Answer the
following questions

1) List the different protocols that appear in the protocol column in the unfiltered packet-
listing window in the Wireshark Interface.

2) How long did it take from when the HTTP GET message was sent until the HTTP OK
reply was received for the webpage you visited in your web browser?

3) Write the Internet (IP) address of the URL you visited?

4) Write the Internet(IP) address of your computer?

5) Print the two HTTP messages displayed in Wireshark Interface after you had visited
the above URL through your web browser.

Prepare a report to the above 5 questions and send your assignment solution to
gizachewteshome2007@[Link] in .doc format on August 05, 2021. Your assignment file
name should be like Group_[Number]_NetworkSecurity. The answer must be supported by
the screenshot and don’t crop it. In this assignment, you are evaluated on your familiarity
with Wireshark and asked to demonstrate how you arrived at answers shown in your
