WEEK-4 NLP

What I learned was NLP. It is an attitude to life. And also I think that it is such a
tecchnique which makes you seeing everything around you from only your side. It is a
processing of perceiving the world through five senses, searching the way our experience of
the world is shaped, and training to think, speak and act in new and positive ways to release
our potential and reach those heights of achivements which we previously only dreamt of.

Furtermore, one of the most important point in this subject is the NLP presuppositions.
These are so helpful in regard of learning and teaching. For instance, one saying “the map is
not the territory: we all have different maps of the world.” is something usually we ignore. I
think that in teaching contaxt each student is unique, because all of them are from differenr
social envirenments, cultures, and etc. However, before this subject I thought that a teacher
could not address each of the student, he or she came to class , explained the subject and went,
but my toughts have changed. I should try to learn about their way of learning(if they are
visual, auditory, kinaesthetic, olfactory or gustatory) and to give them importance. The other
one saying “the resources we need are wthin us” also attrected my attention. All right almost
all of us know that people have the potantial, but they can not use it. I was also one of them.
We have the resource, but this does not work without knowing how to use it.

Moreover, the four pillars of NLP are useful in teaching and learning process, also in
social life. Everything starts with knowing what you want(outcome). And knowing what you
want will help you get it. And flexibility is an another [Link] to this, if it does not
work, use another one. In another word, always I should have choices to be success, because
the more choices I have, the more chances of success I have. Also maximising similarities and
minimising differenties(rapport) makes met o set good interaction with my students in the
classroom. Lastly, respecting and observing them while communicating without
disturbing(sensory acuity) is also important for their development, I think.

Before having this course, making mistake was an awful thing for me, because I
assumed that when I was a mistake, this showed that I was lack of knowledge in that subject,
so usually I used to prefer to be silent. However, now making mistakes means having
experience and learning more form e. The more I make mistekes, the more I will try and the
beter I learn.

This subject is new to me and I have difficulty in internalising it. This process will be a
little long and hard, for knowing the knowledge is not the case, but it is the how to make use
of it being so complex. I supposee that as long as I experience the teaching methods, I will
make sense of it.
