cold. Weather refers to the
condition of the
atmosphere in a particular
area. It occurs in a place for
a limited period of time.
Weather can change from
minute-to-minute, hour-to-
hour, day-to-day, and
season-to-season.
Nowadays, it’s very easy to
predict the weather of a
given time and location.  

Climate is like……………………

The climate is like the


weather however, their
aspect of duration alters.
Climate is the average
weather pattern that
prevails in a locality for a
long span of time (30 years
or more). It differs from one
place to another because of
certain factors like latitude,
altitude, prevailing winds,
ocean currents, topography,
and bodies of water. These
factors cause variation in
the climate of different
places all over the world.
For example, in the
Philippines, we frequently
bring umbrellas to protect
us either from the heat of
the sun or from the rain.
But, if one will go to Russia
or Sweden, one will need to
wear jackets and layered
clothing because of the very
cold climate.
