The budget allocation for the "GULAYAN SA PAARALAN" project reflects its priorities by dedicating funds primarily to the purchase of seeds and plastic bags, which are essential for the planting activities. With Php 300.00 allocated for these items and the remaining Php 200.00 for miscellaneous expenses, the budget emphasizes the importance of starting and maintaining the garden, aligning with the project's objectives of increasing vegetable production and supporting the feeding program .

The primary objectives of the "GULAYAN SA PAARALAN" project are to apply skills in planting vegetables and caring for plants, improve and increase vegetable production to support the feeding program, and develop desirable values such as love of work, industry, and cooperation among pupils .

The "GULAYAN SA PAARALAN" project aims to address malnutrition among pupils by improving the health and nutritional status of learners through the cultivation of vegetables. The vegetables grown will provide accessible and healthy food to support the school's feeding program for undernourished children .

Staggered planting seasons are necessary in the "GULAYAN SA PAARALAN" project to ensure a continuous supply of fresh vegetables throughout the school year. This approach helps in maintaining a sustainable feeding program by providing a consistent availability of food ingredients, which is crucial for addressing the issue of malnutrition among pupils .

Challenges in implementing the "GULAYAN SA PAARALAN" project may include resource limitations, such as the modest budget of Php 500.00, which may not cover unforeseen expenses. Additionally, ensuring consistent participation from parents and pupils, as well as managing and maintaining the garden over multiple planting seasons, might pose difficulties given the young age of the pupils and their need for guidance and assistance .

The previous last mile school-based feeding program plays a foundational role in the development of the "GULAYAN SA PAARALAN" project as it highlights the existing malnutrition problem among pupils. The garden project aims to provide a more sustainable and localized solution by growing the necessary ingredients to support and sustain the feeding program, thereby reducing reliance on external food sources .

The success and failure of the "GULAYAN SA PAARALAN" project will be monitored and evaluated based on the active participation of PTA officers, parents, and pupils. The project will be reviewed by the school head and teachers to ensure its effective implementation and to identify areas for improvement .

The "GULAYAN SA PAARALAN" project promotes the development of desirable values such as love of work, industry, and cooperation by involving students actively in planting and caring for the vegetables. Participation in this hands-on project teaches students the value of hard work, teamwork, and responsibility, fostering a sense of accomplishment and community spirit .

Involving parents and teachers in the implementation of the "GULAYAN SA PAARALAN" project is significant because it encourages community engagement and cooperation. By working together, parents and teachers can support the pupils' learning and development, ensuring the successful growth and maintenance of the vegetable garden. This collaboration also aims to instill values such as love of work and industry in both the pupils and the adults involved .

For the pre-implementation phase, strategies included conducting a planning conference, creating and submitting a project proposal for approval. During the post-implementation phase, the strategy involves submitting a final accomplishment report. These steps ensure thorough planning and accountability for the project's outcomes .
