Chapter 8 Reflection

Let's Reflect:

What kind of a leader am I? What should I do to become an effective leader?

I think it is not easy to become a leader and lead a group of people to achieve a special goal.
A leader must have special abilities and traits in order to become an effective leader.

To be honest, I don't really used on being a leader because I don't think I can lead a group of
people to achieve goals. I am not really good at setting goals and giving instructions to other
people. However, if I am a leader, I think I am a democratic leader. Since I am not good at
setting goals, I will try to ask members to collaborate with me and share our thoughts and ideas
together to come up with the goals of our group. Also in my group, I also want everyone to give
their opinions in decision making and choose on what is the best option for the betterment of our
group. In this way, I think I will become an effective leader since I consider my group's opinion
as important that's why everyone will have courage to take their stands in discussion or meeting.

Though I am not used in being a leader, I will still do my best and try to become an
effective leader if that opportunity comes.
