The author of the book Mr Bean In Town is John Escott and published by the
publisher of Pearson Education Limited on 19 February 2001. This novel has a total of 16
pages. Why do I like this novel,because I really like the comedy genre. This is a book that
tells behavior of Mr Bean which is very funny, I might not choose this book for me to read by
myself,but I will show my friends that there is a good book that they can read. This book can
entertain readers,that’s what I really like. This book will serve readers well.

Mr Bean goes to a restaurant on his birthday,because Mr Bean want to celebrate it.


When he was in the restaurant it was not as he imagined,there is an unusual situation for
him. Mr Bean shows his strange behavior in the restaurant,he took a birthday card and
envelope in his jacket then write “ Happy Birthday Mr Bean” and he pretented someone
else gave the envelope to him. Once he did not have enough money to order food and in
the end he order a Steak Tartare but he didn’t like the food. Mr Bean doesn’t know what to
do with these foods,and he found a good idea to hide Steak Tartare in object that were
nearby. He thinks he smart at this,he did not want to show the dirty place to the waiter and
manager. Finally he went and cleaned his clothes to the laundry. At the laundry he does
strange things again. He took someone else’s clothes and put them on,exchange clothes
deodorizers for a coffe and finally he goes in to the washing machine and can’t get out.

The writer is very good at characterizing Mr Bean. Characterization which is played


by Mr Bean looks like a real without any engineering, Mr Bean became a very stupid and
ridiculous. Mr Bean plays the character with totality. The writer is very clever in choosing a
character who can portray the characterization. But unfortunately,the cover of the novel Mr
Bean In Town is less interesting. So many readers think that this novel is just an ordinary
novel. Mr Bean In Town’s book is very interesting to read,besides iteresting this book to tell
actions Mr Bean is funny and ridiculous for his stupidity. You will lose if you do not read this
book,this is very interesting. Don’t forget to download it and read it.
