Education is a resource that provides awareness, strategies, skills and knowledge to people.
Opening learner's minds to a new concepts and ideas through an effective education system
would stimulating their potential and interests, enhancing their effectiveness, and inspiring them
to a new path for a positive social change. The main reason, I want to teach is my desire to be a
lifelong learner, to inspire and encourage my students to achieve their goals, believe in
themselves and develop higher level thinking skills.,
Plato has righty said “Do not train students to learning by force and harshness, but direct them to
it by what amuses their minds, so that you may be better able to discover with accuracy the
peculiar bent of the genius of each”.teaching is not controlling, but rather working with the
students to learn, grow, and succeed together. By having strong student-teacher relationship with
students, the classroom will be a place for each member to expresstheir feelings and work
together. For that My experience in the classroom has taught me that utilizing different strategies
allows me to meet the need of all students and because our classroom nowadays are blended so I
try always to establish a comfortable environment full of respect, tolerance, interest and positive.
Also, I believe that having good ethics and values is extremely essential for each individual so, I
provide equal learning opportunities to my students regardless of race, grade, or socioeconomic
status, and I encourage my students to meet these differences, respect and interact positively with
one other.
There are many different teaching methods and the teacher have to choose the suitable methods
for their students according to their age, grade level, interests, abilities, learning styles and also
according to the subject. As I am a social studies teacher, I focus on student centered approach to
learning to give the student the opportunities to work independently and strive to implement
hand-on learning, where students learn best when they are actively engaged in their own
learning. Second, I develop critical thinking skills as a stepping-stone in the foundation of a
successful education and let them be as an active learners rather than passive ones, but21 The
methods that mark my most successful teaching achievements is the cooperative learning that
facilitate participation and promote development of critical thinking skills, in additional to the
lectures, brainstorming where the students learn to express their ideas, And because the 21st
century learners need to be prepared for the high- technology (high-Tech) world, so I integrate
technology to my teaching methods by using it in the classroom such as PowerPoint (PPT),
active board and other applications.
Student evaluation is a vital part of any educational process and they learn and obtain
information in different ways, so I implement multiple modalities of assessing. (here write about
exams and assess) their performance in the classroom and of course extra exams or quizzes may
be occurred if it is required to encourage my students to do better. Also, I believe that
presentations using technology is important nowadays, it is done in my classes.
As a conclusion, my philosophy of education is based on what I know and have experienced at
this point in my career. I am sure that my teaching philosophy will change as I learn more to
build my wealth of professional knowledge, and through taking additional courses, attending
workshops and conferences with fellow teachers to exchange ideas and learn new things in order
to give my students the most up-to-date information possible.
