Mathematical Practices: This lesson involves a range of
mathematical practices from the standards, with emphasis on
MP1: Make sense of problems and preserve in solving them,

[Link].MP5 Use appropriate tools strategically,
[Link].MP6 Attend to precision, and MP7: Look for

Common Core Standard: Any standard can be addressed with
the use of these notes.
Estimated Class time: Each Activity can take 10 to 30 minutes.
Materials required: Each student will need a copy of Activity #1.
