1. Good Afternoon, dearest grade 8 students of Bato. You are with Mam Glydz,
2. your teacher in MAPEH 8. Please be with me in another radio care session.
3. I will be sharing with you another opportunities for learning together with Bato
4. RDHS Radio Care. Your radio that sends care on air! I am happy to be with
5. you as your radio teacher to guide you in your study through this radio
6. broadcast. Again, this is Mam Glydz, your radio teacher on MAPEH 8 saying,

8. This session, we will have an engaging lesson in Health but make sure you are
9. all comfortable in your respected area. Make sure that you already have with
10. you your module so that you can follow the step-by-step activity for this lesson.
11. Please check the title of the module and see to it that the title is HEALTH
12. QUARTER 2 – MODULE 1: LOVE MATTERS MOST.
13. Our lesson is all about the Importance of Courtship and Dating in Choosing a
14. Lifelong Partner. Oooh. Exciting, right? After going through this module, you
15. are expected to Explain the importance of Courtship and Dating in Choosing a
16. Lifelong Partner with specific objective of: A. identify the factors of
17. choosing a lifelong partner B. appreciate the importance of courtship
18. and dating in choosing a lifelong partner and C. illustrate an image of
19. an ideal partner for a successful marriage. On the next page, page you will see
20. the “What I Know” Icon and Title of the pre-Assessment. What you are going
21. To do is to Read the following statements carefully. Choose and write the
22. letter of the correct answer in your answer sheets. You will be answering
23. 15 items of the pre-assessment. Afterwards, you will be directed to the fifth
24. Page. Here lies the introduction of the Lesson. Please read with me.
25. Dating and courting are important in order to have a realistic idea of the
26. kind of person you are planning to be as your future partner. You must
27. think of the reasons why you will like to date someone and your
28. expectations in a certain relationship with the person.
29. Then you will fill in the table with the “Some Terms you Remember”
30. associated with the words, DATING, COURTSHIP and MARRIAGE.
31. Afterwards you will be tasked to accomplish the Activity 1. Which is,
32. PICTURE CONNECTIVITY. With the directions: LOOK AT THE
33. PICTURES BELOW AND ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS.
34. After you’re done with the activity 1, proceed now to further readings about the
35. Topic, under the icon and title “What is It”. You will find there the important
36. Terms on the topic, such as DATING, THE TYPES AND IMPORTANCE OF
37. DATING, COURTSHIP AND ITS IMPORTANCE, ENGAGEMENT AND
38. MARRIAGE. Also read the FACTORS TO CONSIDER IN
39. CHOOSING A LIFETIME PARTNEMT TO WORK OUT FOR
40. SUCCESSFUL MARRIED LIFE.
41. You will now be directed to 3 more activities. On the first activity, you are
42. going to create a list of qualifications and standards for your ideal partner.
43. Write a minimum of three qualifications then explain briefly why you have that
44. qualifications for your future partner. The second one, you will analyze and
45. explain your idea about the questions given below. Answer the question,
46. “WHAT IS THE IMPORTANCE OF DATING AND COURTSHIP IN
47. CHOOSING A LIFELONG PARTNER AS A PERSON, AND AS A
48. COUPLE. On the 3rd activity accomplish the web diagram As a teenager,
49. write the factors to consider in choosing a lifelong partner.
50. To reflect on the learning you have gained, answer the reflection part, which
51. has the WHAT I HAVE LEARNED icon. Provide also your ideas of an ideal
52. lifelong partner by illustrating an image of your ideal partner in life and write
53. the characteristics or qualities of a partner that you would like to have.
54. And now to assess your end-knowledge, answer the 15-item assessment test
55. And check whether your answers are correct by looking at the key-to
56. correction section. As an Additional Activity, Accomplish the task, entitled,
57. MY PARENT’S STORY REVIEW. This time you are going to interview your
58. parents and let them answer the following questions found on the 15th page.
59. And illustrate a picture collage of a successful marriage through cut out
60. pictures from magazines, newspapers, and the like. Write a short explanation of
61. what makes the marriage successful. This will serve as your performance task
62. in MAPEH 8, 2nq Quarter. That would be your tasks on this week. I hope
