2.a)Epimysium:

It is a layer of dense irregular connective tissue which covers the entire muscles and
protects muscles from friction against other muscles and bones .

b)Perimysium:

It is a sheath of connective tissue which surrounds each bundle of muscle fibers.

c)Endomysium:

It is a layer of areola connective tissue that covers each individual muscle fiber.

3a) Sarcolemma:
This is the plasma membrane of a muscle cell

B) Sarcoplasm:

This is the cytoplasm of the muscle cell.

4. Skeletal muscles are attached to bones and perform voluntary muscular


movements whereas cardiac muscles are found in the heart and perform involuntary muscular

movements .
