INTRO
I was born and brought up in Delhi and it has always blessed me with its diverse culture, ethics, and
ample amount of opportunities available here. I gained my research and analytical skills while doing
a live project from finlatics where I explored the Indian Power sector and problems within it.
During my internship with Private Equity Pro Partners, I was assigned with a task to not only
understand the problems within the Indian power sector but what all possible solutions could be
there and why. Apart from this, I explored financial shenanigans & Investment rationale during short
selling. Post that I was offered a part-time job role and from that project I understood the pain
points of customers and motivation, using which a developer develops a new product in the market.
I acquired technical skills during my Computer Science Hons. There I gained specialized knowledge in
CS theories and practices.
Outside of work, I like Writing Poems which I carried forward by posting snippets on my social media
and this taught me to be authentic, engaging, and charming. That being said, I am looking forward to
branching out my future and career prospects with CrownIT. It is a true honor for me, to interview
with you today, I hope we can further discuss how I can bring value to this position and be a great
asset to the team.
STRENGTHS
My strongest asset is my work ethic, ability to remain calm and my willingness to step in
when needed. I’m not afraid to take on a difficult project because those are the projects that
teach me the most. I like being organised and persistent for my work and do whatever is
asked of me.
I am passionate about my ideas and also not afraid to admit it if I go wrong. This has helped
me being flexible, co-operative, communicative and build my teammates trust in me.
WEAKNESS
Oftentimes, I can be timid when providing constructive feedback to others, out of fear of
hurting someone's feelings. However, during my SIP, my chairman asked me to edit some of
his pieces and provide feedback for areas of improvement. Through my experience with him,
I realized feedback can be both helpful and kind, when delivered the right way. Since then
I've become better at offering feedback, and I've realized that my empathy can be used to
my advantage to provide thoughtful, productive feedback.
Multitasking could be difficult for me. I can focus on one task at a time and execute it
effeciently. Hence, I prefer to prioritise my work based on which task is effecting how many
customers and takes less time.
FIVE YEAR PLAN
My short-term goals are fairly simple. I want to settle down in the new work environment as quickly
as I can and adapt to it for better performance. Next is to focus on strategizing long term plans and
development to deliver the best outcome/service. This will help me in proving my capabilities to my
managers and will be able to take more responsibilities. Also, my plan is to work on my professional
skills and letting my strengths to act as the catalyst in my career. In Long term, I want to be a mid
level executive, lead a team, mentor and train them and ultimately contribute to the firm by
continuing its legacy to deliver their best services amd experience to its customers.
WHAT I DO IN SPARE TIME
I like writing poetry and working on its design to make it look more presentable. Apart from this, I
like listening to people, understanding how they think and what is there approach towards life. For
which I talk to people or listen to online interviews. This has helped me a lot in developing
interpersonal skills, being empathetic and flexible.
DIFFICULT SITUATION
As a management student, one of my biggest challenges was keeping up with the volume of work compared
to what I was used to in graduation. It was always a hectic schedule from assignments to projects to
workshops, my time was always filled with some activity or the other. When I noticed myself feeling
overwhelmed, I worked on my organization and time management skills. I also reached out for help from my
professors, batchmates and worked on creating a structured schedule which helped me focus on the tasks at
hand. Culture of this institute taught me to not get afraid or feel inferior to those who are better than me as
they were my biggest source of learning, they helped me improve my communication and interpersonal
skills. Soon after, I began taking on team leadership responsibilities, became more strategic in task
management, and adapted to the environment. I faced the most difficult situation when I joined this institute
and after two years it has taught me a life lesson to take up challenges and tackle them effectively and
gracefully.
Why me
Over the years, I have acquired relevant skills and experience, which I shall bring to your
organization. I have also worked on my communication abilities and teamwork skills, which I will
put to use in my future career, which would be in your organization if I am selected for the
position. Even though I am a fresher, I assure you that I will give my best and paying strong
attention to detail, would work with a zeal to get things done and as much as I can towards the
growth and welfare of this great brand. Lastly, I would like to add that I work well both as an
individual contributor and also as a team member.
