Design Analysis

Load 1: General Lighting (includes General Purpose Receptacles):

Load = 60 sqm (24 VA/sqm) = 1,440 VA

Load current = 1,440 VA / 230 V = 6.26 A

Load 2: Small Appliance:

Load = 1 circuit x 1,500 VA per circuit = 1,500 VA

Load 3: Laundry:

Load = 1 circuit x 1,500 VA per circuit = 1,500 VA

Net Calculated

First 3,000 VA @ 100% DF = 3,000 VA

Next 1,440 VA @ 35% DF = 504 VA

Demand Load = 3,504 VA

Load 4: Air-Conditioning Units:

1 BR (11.74 sqm)

One 2.5 TR: 230 V x 18.15 A = 4,175 VA

Master’s BR (16.16 sqm)

One 2.5 TR: 230 V x 18.15 A = 4,175 VA

Demand Load = 8,350 VA

Load 5: Electric Cooking Appliances (refer to PEC table):

12kW range: 8kW = 8,000 VA
