Case Description
An international steel company [Link] is looking to improve
profitability. The company sells products all around the world. SteelCo’s
steel is used in many different applications, for example, for construction
of buildings and infrastructure (e.g. bridges).

The company has hired [Link] to help them tackle


profitability challenge.

Your Task
You as a project consultant were asked to analyze the data provided to SteelCo ships products all around the world
you by the client. The data includes basic information regarding revenue,
sales volume and gross margin for Q3 and Q4 2018.

The major purpose of the analysis is to understand reasons for changes


in profitability and outline next steps that needs to be taken to solve
profitability challenge.
