Weldox 690 Technical Delivery Conditions

This document outlines the technical delivery conditions for high-strength steel that will be quenched and tempered. It specifies requirements for method of deoxidation, chemical composition limits, mechanical properties including minimum yield strength, tensile strength, elongation and impact energy. Dimensional and surface quality tolerances are also defined, along with marking requirements for plates. Chemical elements, in particular carbon, silicon, manganese and aluminum are restricted to tight maximum percentage ranges to achieve the desired properties.
