GERMANY – Kriegerdenkmal im Hofgarten (Munich)

The Kriegerdenkmal (“warrior memorial”) in Hofgarten in Munich was built for commemorating those killer in action in
World War 1 from Munich . It is located on the eastern end of Hofgarten, in front of the Bayerische Staatskanzlei.

AUSTRIA-HUNGARY – Austro-Hungarian Military Cemetery Log Pod in Mangartom, Slovenia

On this cemetery are the buried remains of 800 soldiers of the Austro- Hungarian Army, who died during the fights on
the Isonzo Front (1915-1917) during the First World War.

RUSSIA – World War I Memorial Cemetery in Russia

The Memorial Park Complex of the Heroes of the First World War is a cemetery in Moscow, Russia. The cemetery
opened in 1915 but was demolished during the Soviet Period in 1932. In 2004, the new memorial park was built on
the land of the former cemetery.
