Matud Nila is a about making it through hardships. It is about
someone she loves dearly even other people think that she doesn’t
deserve the love.

DANCE
Sinulog is a ritual in honor of the miraculous image of Santo Niño. This event
is frequently used basis for most Sinulog dances, which dramatize the coming
of Spaniards and the presentation of Santo Niño to the queen.

THEATER
Ang Paghigugma sa Yuta nga Natawhan is all about Ricardo, a
young Cebuano student who studied in Manila and became a
mason.

VISUAL ARTS
Lapu-Lapu Shrine is a 20 metered broze statue located in the
Mactan Shrine Park in Punta Engaño, Mactan Island Cebu.

FILMS
The classic Cebuano film Badlis sa Kinabuhi, first shown in
April 1969 and starring Gloria Sevilla and Mat Ranillo Jr. The
mother fights off being raped by her stepfather and stands trial
for murder.
