Now, class I will group you into two
groups. After that you listen to my
instruction.
Group 1. will draw a shape of triangle, (The pupils participated)
circle, square and rectangle.
Group 2. will draw a shape of cube,
cylinder and cone.
Each group will guess what dimension of
the shape.

Yes, Kaye? For me ma’am, shape can be defined as the form
of an object or its outline, outer boundary or
outer surface.

width and 3 dimensions is a solid form of shape.

As we look the chart
A two-dimensional shape is a shape that
has length and width but no depth. In
mathematics, shapes are derived from
objects in the real world that have
common geometric attributes. A circle,
triangle square rectangle and pentagon
these are the example of a two-
dimensional shape.
In geometry, a three-dimensional shape
can be defined as a solid figure or an
object or shape that has three
dimensions – length, width and height.
Unlike two-dimensional shapes, three-
dimensional shapes have thickness or
depth.
In short class, a two-dimensional (2D)
shape has only two measurements, such
as length and height. A square, triangle,
and circle are all examples of a 2D shape.
However, a three-dimensional (3D) shape
has three measurements, such as length,
width, and height.
Okay class let me ask you, when can you
say if it is a 2 dimensional or 3 I teacher!
