Job Description: Weekly Maintenance on Hydra Racker
WI-DS6-WI-DRL-0034 USE OF MAINTENANCE BASKET
Summary: (Brief description of procedure):
The purpose of this procedure is to properly inform personnel on how to do the Weekly Maintenance on the Hydra Racker

Ch Mech: Supervise Task, insure CWP, Isolations, and JSA are used properly and performing party is competent to perform
the task. Insure work instructions and applicable procedures are understood and used effectively. May delegate responsibility
to Sr. Mechanic in their absence.
Sr Mechanic: Performing Party, directs Rig Mechanic to assist/perform the task, insures work instructions are followed
effectively, and all applicable procedures are understood and used effectively.
Rig Mechanic: Assists as directed
Electrician to isolate
Hand Tools / Spare Parts / Required: grease gun- hand tools

1) Prepare PTW as per procedure PR-CO-SHE-003

tightening. Unload the bolt before tightening. It
always takes some time before the bolt and the
support is "broken in". The resulting "play" must
be absorbed by retightening the screws that
holds the taper sleeves in place. When they are
retightened, the taper sleeves expand and also
absorb wear and ovality in the bolt supports. The
taper sleeve may absorb play of up to 2 mm in
diameter
