Engaging Rant Performance Task Rubric

This rubric evaluates students on a performance task where they must write and present a rant about something that really grinds their gears. For part A, the script is evaluated on constructing a strong position with supporting ideas and examples, effective organization with a clear structure and memorable conclusion, and using an engaging voice suited to the audience. For part B, the delivery and presentation is evaluated on using at least 3 thoughtful images connected to points, clear communication using oral and non-verbal strategies to enhance the presentation, and embracing the spirit of a rant.
