In this article, the author states the necessity of use of normal distribution in science studies.
Then the author gives an example on normal distribution and log-normal distribution, and then
gives a physical model to explain why log-normal distribution would occur. After this, he tells the
properties of log-normal distribution and gives examples of log-normal distribution in different
discipline of science and then raises the question of whether to use normal distribution or
log-normal distribution in real phenomena.

In this article, the author states the situation that normality in nature phenomena, is often
explain to be normal according to central limit theorem, by quoting that normal distribution is
neither mathematically inductive, nor empirical fact. Then he argues that this statement is false,
because CLT cannot explain in particular cases, why the data is normally distributed. To support
this, he gives some examples and points out the contradiction on CLT and normal situations. At
last he gives an alternative explanation using entropy theories.
