ANSWER-5: Becoming an air force pilot had been a childhood dream for me.
So, I tried Turkish Air Force after high school. Unfortunately I was not
accepted because of health issue. Then, I went university. But I never
gave up thinking of becoming a pilot.
I have worked as a licenced aircraft technician for nine years after the
university. During this period I have searched how to become an
airline pilot. I asked thousands of questions to pilots whom I worked
together.
After that I started flight school in order to make my dreams real.

QUESTION-6: “Describe your first solo flight in as much detail as possible within the time
scale of 2 minutes?” (120 sec)
ANSWER-6 It was in a cold but shiny winters day in Antalya two years ago.
After finishing the ground training, we started flying with Cessna 172.
I flew fourteen hours until solo check flight.
After a successful check flight, my check pilot approved my solo
flight.
At the ramp, I requested clearance for taxi after engine run. I was
cleared for runway 36R. There was a long taxi distance from the ramp
to the runway. I recorded taxi instructions and readback. When I
arrived the runway I had to wait for an aircraft which is on final. I was
so excited when I was cleared for take off.
It was only a box pattern without any touch and goes.
It was an excellent feeling.
After fifteen minutes of solo flight, I turned to the runway for landing.
In my opinion, it was the best landing I had ever made to that date.
It was a nice flight without any problems.
Flying solo was a great experience for me.

QUESTION-7: “Please tell me your last flight?” (80 sec)
ANSWER-7: My last flight was a two hour multi engine check flight with an
examiner in Isparta.
It was a cloudy day. We checked the further weather reports. Then we
decided to go for the check flight.
We took off from Isparta Süleyman Demirel Airport and executed a
standart instrument departure.
We checked the PELIL point and contacted Çardak Airport and
requested ILS approach after one holding over CRD VOR. At the
minimums we executed simulated missed approach. After full missed
approach procedure, we left VOR and turned back to Isparta. On the
way examiner requested to perform some manoeuvres.
After a successfull check flight we made full stop landing on
Süleyman Demirel Airport.
Approach was stable and satisfactory and we landed safely.

ANSWER-8: One of my friend experienced an incident during his solo flight.
He took off from Isparta Airport with a Cessna 172.

ANSWER-9: To prevent incidents, we should listen to the radio carefully.
Besides, speaking units should use standard aviation terminology,
plain English and speak slowly.
Before doing something, we should agree with all ATC units.
If we are in doubt, we have to request for acknowledgement.
QUESTION10: “What do you do to prevent ground accidents?" (30 sec)
ANSWER10: To prevent incidents, we should listen to the radio carefully.

ANSWER11: The aircraft makes a complete stop on the apron.
When leaving the aircraft one of the passengers hits his or her head
to the edge of the wing and gets seriously injured.
It’s a ground accident.

ANSWER-16: My preparations start the day before the check ride.
First off all, like before every flight, I must sleep well.
In the morning of the flight day, I get a general brifing about weather
conditions and notams.
First of all, I check my mission and destination airport`s charts.
Then I fill out the flight plan.
Next I make a briefing with the other pilot.
We check weather reports for departure airport, destination airport,

We talk about standart procedures.
At last, I go to the aircraft and check aircraft files, fuselage, wings,
flight control surfaces, vertical and horizantal stabilisers, wheels,
brakes and the other parts and also all the systems.
