We visited Alkaram studio gulgasht for our assignment


and took interview of Mr. Abdullah currently working on
the behalf of branch manager.

The group has its origin in the early 1900s
when it started the trade of grains and oil in the
subcontinent. Entrepreneurial skills and acumen have
always been the driving force behind the success of the
group. Based in Karachi the Alkaram group has unfolded
its vision of growth and established its multifaceted
concerns country wide and abroad . Following
opportunities in the newly created state of Pakistan the
group flourished in the fields of textiles, F&B, salt mining,
hospitality,trading and distribution .
The Alkaram group was founded in March 1986 with a
vision to be a provider of innovative textile solutions

distinguished fabric for apparel,home and industrial
markets with clients all over the [Link]’s ability
to create forward-thinking solutions that give their
clients a competitive advantage is what sets AK apart.

Alkaram Studio is a Pakistani clothing brand which sells


ready-to-wear,unstitched and haute couture.

the largest purveyors of stunning textile solution around
the world and now as managing Director; the biggest
challenge for me was to build an exampelory company in

alkaram through periods of deflated economic growth,
recessions and geopolitical risks”
It contributes significantly to the country’s 8.5%
GDP,exports as well [Link] is ,infact ,the
backbone of Pakistan economy.

communication were kept along with consistently quick
yet well thought- out decisions by manager that have
been part of the Alkaram mix since the start. In using this
