Fun. Informative. Interesting.

The words mentioned above sum up my experience in the making of my video presentation on Health
Assessment in a Rural Health Unit setting. I really had fun while filming my activity since I get to bond
also with my family at the same time. Although, there some struggles but through their cooperation and
help, we were able to push through with the filming. More so, in the span of preparing and filming the
activity, it was really informative hence I have learned a lot. I have learned some information about the
case of my patient which is hypertension and I was also glad to know that my “patient” learned
something, too. This is a very interesting clinical experience because I was able broaden my
knowledge and skills on Health Assessment. Also, I got to know how RHUs in our community run
and work with regards to extending health care services to the residents. This is quite an
extraordinary experience really. I have a wonderful opportunity to practice as a community health
nurse even though just in a short time. It is something I could never forget.
