Exercise Science Research Reflection

The document discusses a student's reflection on researching problems in their future career field of exercise science. The student felt diving deeper into research on issues in the field was interesting and reinforced problems they had previously heard about. While they believed their arguments were effective, they feel they could have provided more detailed solutions and it was difficult to find new research due to prior knowledge in the topic.

Problem Solve Reflection

Throughout this course topic, I feel as if I was able to dive deeper into my research

regarding my future career. As I discovered this problem of research within my field of study it

was very interesting to have a look inside exercise science at the pros and cons of what works

and what does not. I definitely still see the problem in the same way even after I continued to do

research because I have also heard of this problem previously from professors in classes within

my major. Also, as I dug through my research this seems to be a common problem within all

sections of exercise science not just my specific interest of physical therapy.

I believe my argument was effective in confronting and solving the issues I addressed. I

thought it was kind of interesting to find two similar problems which both had the same

overwhelming solution from my point of view. I feel like I broke down my argument decently

and tried to address both sides of the argument and defend my side against any possible

counterarguments. I definitely feel like I could have gone into more detail with solutions to my

problems. I also found it rather difficult to find solid research on my problems as I have had the

same interest and plan for my life for the majority of my school years I have taken many classes

focused in this field and have a lot of prior knowledge on this topic so finding specific research

was difficult. I plan to work on my research with my future papers and trying to learn and

research on information I have not previously learned.
