QUARTER 3

Logos may be a modern invention, but they stem from centuries of human interaction with pictures.
As early as 9000 B.C.E., ancient Mesopotamian civilizations used pictograms to express ideas and track
goods in agricultural settings.
As people learned more about the world around them, they created symbols to identify everything
from animals and gods to places and objects. It was not long before logos emerged — vast visual
languages with symbols representing literal words.
A logo is a combination of text and imagery that usually used in advertising. It tells people
the name of your small business and creates a visual symbol that represents your vision.

Task Description:
• In a short bond paper, design and create an original logo showing the different kinds of
quadrilaterals and parallelograms that would represent the kind of business you would
like to invest. Explain the importance and connectivity of your created logo.
• You would be graded according to the rubric given.
