most noteworthy uprightness to be in their profession.
2. What is the essence of understanding that each person is inherently good?
The essence of understanding is to directly communicate with all the people. We, as person,
we are neither good nor bad, it's mainly selfish for the purpose of self-preservation. But that
doesn't mean it's bad, for selfishness is what made us survive and on top of that, humans

3. Why is it that effective counselors do not give advice?
The main reason for counselors not giving advice is for protective purposes. This helps them
mature so that when they enter adulthood, they won’t expect to be rescued when they make
bad decisions. A wise counselor allows their clients to make their own choices, which
empowers them to feel more confident in making future decisions. Frequently, people expect
their counselor to provide tangible answers or give “quick fixes” to their problems. In other
words, they want specific, concrete solutions for whatever issues that are troubling them.
But most counselors avoid giving their clients advice.

3. As a Filipino, what practices or values can learn from your
guidance counselor? How will you promote these values and
practices?
As a Filipino I know I can gain a deeper, more objective insight into
where I have been and the new direction that will bring me healing,
restoration, and joy. In this case I can learn dignity, respect, and
genuine concern for my well-being and I am going to promote these
values by reinforcing it in all communication.
