Pride Sample

These images show the before and after of my pride sample. The first image shows
just how far my project came from when I literally pulled it out of the bushes. I take pride
in my dedication to whatever I put my mind to. I also believe hard work is the foundation
of building a good character. From the time I pulled my project out of the bush to the
time I got it painted and prepped was a year of hard and tiring work. Multiple times I felt
like giving up and quitting but I knew I’d regret it deeply. My biggest fear is failure but I
believe if I failed it was because I didn’t try hard enough and gave up.

I did my very best in highschool and I’m proud of that, it brings pride to myself. But even
with all the hard work I’ve done in high school, this was only the beginning. I refuse to
become lazy and settle for a basic job barely scraping by with no pride or enjoyment in
my work. I want to aim high and obtain a degree in higher education and eventually
pursue a career in federal law enforcement. My highschool graduation was the first step
in pursuing my goals.
