Hi, my name is Gregorio Castañeda and today im talking to you of a important decisiton in my life

that really changed it. In my entire life i have had 3 accidents that cause that my left arm broke.
The first one, I was playing with some Friends and I felt off a small Hill/Cliff. The second one was in
a parkour class and i also fell of a small kids park. The third one is the most importatn one and the
one im going to talk to you in this Word document. When i was 6 years old, I started getting
interest on animal, like horses or cows.

My dad is a person that has worked all of his life in farms, helping his dad with cows, riding horses
etc. I also liked that idea, so i asked my dad to get me in one of those horse clubs. I was really
excited but also really nervous. My dad always told me that i was really Good at riding horses, so i
was really happy about it. One day, about a month later I entered the club, my club teacher told
me that in a couple of days it was going to be a exhibition of horses with many clubs of all the
country. Of course I was really excited of it, and i prepared myslef.

The nex class of the club I went, and we had some routines, Mondays was with al club, Tuesday
was individual clases, and Wednesdays was individual but with parents. That day was a
Wednesday, so my dad came to help me, we were playing a game called “Follow”. What I needed
to do, is follow were my dad was going, so i did and I performed really well, i was really excited
because the exhibition was close. After that, it was my turn to be in front, and my dad was going
to follow me.

Just after I started moving, the horse i was riding got scared of something (I think it was a rato r
something like that). The horse jumped in his 4 legs 2 times, then it lifted his 2 back legs and i
“literally”, went out flying, when i could open my eyes, the horse was walking just in front of me
and i was scared. The next thing i remember is that my dad was running for me, then i felt a small
pain on my left arm. Then i saw it, my arm had a “Z” form, I was really scared, so of course I cried. I
really didnt felt so much pain but i was really scared, my dad carry me to the car and we went to
the hospital. My dad called my mom, he told her what have happened and she also went to the
hospital. When we arrived i was directly moved to urgencies.

After the doctor talked to my mom and dad, he told them that I need an operation. I was
inmediately sent to that operation. I dont remember anytingt about that because I had anesthesia.
But when I was on my recuperation my mom asked my if I wanted still to go to the club. Here is
when the decition entered, i had 2 options, say yes and still could go to the exhibition, or say no,
and continue my life with that fear. I said no, because i already have broke my left arm 2 times on
the past. I heard my mom and dad talked to the doctor, the doctor telled to them, that is almost
imposible that my left arm, because i have 2 accidents in the same place. I really didnt wanted to
loose an arm, so i rejected to get in the club with that fear.

Today i have fear of horses and cows, because of this accident, but im happy of ot because i could
to other things that im Good for, like drawing or editing
