1) Location
the location is one of the most important factors for me, so the place I choose
should have ease of access, no noise from neighbors, traffic, as well as access to
parks, shopping, schools, and public transportation.
2) Size of an apartment
A large home can give me the extra space I’ve always wanted for guest rooms,
or mini home-gym.
3) Neighborhood
I would like to find the ideal neighbors, streets, lifestyle, restaurants and
entertainment that suit me best.
4) Size of a closet
I HAVE SO MUCH CLOTHES AND SHOES!!!!!!!!!
5) Big windows
They provide both natural light and beautiful views
6) Color of walls
If I’m looking for a rent apartment, it’s interior design is very important for me
and light walls are preferred
7) A fireplace
It makes house very cozy and warm. Plus, I’ve dreamt about a fireplace since I
was a little kid, so it would feel good to finally make this dream come true
8) Condition of the apartment and the maintenance mode
I would pay attention to all the small details to make sure that my potential
house doesn’t leak, smell, mold and has no water damages.
If I keep these specific elements of a home in mind, my house hunting will be
more successful, and I'll likely end up with the home of my dreams.
-Sarah, what do you think about all these offers, which we have given today?
What about a penthouse on the top floor of the skyscraper? For me, this is a
very comfortable and luxurious accommodation but also expensive at the same
time
-Oh, I think it is too expensive for us, especially now, when I have just got
fired. In addition to that, the roof in penthouses often leaks, Rooftop
Amenities are very noisy and not all buildings with penthouses have fully
functional elevators. So, that’s definitely something to watch out for.
-Well, I totally agree with you but I believe it would be a little bit hard to get to
work every day. Traffic jams , a crowded public transport and a long distance
will take a lot of our time and using own car can hit in the pocket, cannot it?
- Why don’t we consider buying a cottage? I love gardening, and having a
yard full of trees and plants has always been my dream. Plus, the violent
and property crime rates are much lower than in the city and air is cleaner
because there is less traffic and fewer factories. However, I understand that
it is too far to your work. Well, we’ll definitely buy a cottage when we will
be old, but now we have to think of something else.
-Let’s find a middle ground to satisfy the desire of two. How do you feel about
an underground house? To my mind it is a great idea
- It’s very interesting. But still underground houses are very expensive to
build, and repairs are difficult and costly. And what about psychological
difficulties people have with living underground? Who knows, maybe we
have them too…
-Sure, but I think we can avoid these negative factors and prevent their
[Link]’s more, it may naturally protect us from wind and draughts. It
is also one of the main pros of this apartment.
- Okay, let it be. Let’s try living in an underground house. Hope it turns out
well!
