Vector Concepts and Displacement Calculations

1. A vector is not changed if it is displaced parallel to itself or rotated through an arbitrary angle. 2. The difference of two vectors can be treated as the sum of two vectors, as subtraction of vectors can be defined in terms of addition of vectors. 3. A vector quantity is displacement, as it involves both direction and magnitude, unlike scalar quantities like mass or time.
