The research on the topic "HEALTH ORGANIZATION IN MY LOCALITY".

Introduction
In the view of the ever increasing population of Diktel, a 15 bedded Khotang Haleshi
Community Hospital had become a necessity not only for solving the needs of patients in the
southern sectors of the hospital but also to care the patients with healthy environment in the
hospital. The hospital is situated in headquarter of Khotang at Diktel which was established
in 18 Magh,2073.

There is MBBS doctor, accountant, Managing Director named Srijana Pradhananga, Kanti
shrestha, Sunil Chaulagain respectively. There are 23 shareholders of this hospital.
Khotang Haleshi Community Hospital Objectives
. The broad objectives of the 15 bedded multi-disciplinary hospital are cited below :

1. To provide comprehensive health care, encompassing


preventive, promotive, curative and rehabilitative health care to the residents
of native people of Diktel drawn from the semi-urban and rural areas.
2. To provide emergency care services of all basic and supportive general
people. These services would be provided free to the poor.

3. To provide  facilities of intensive care unit, coronary care unit, burns


unit and neonatal intensive care unit in future.
4. To provide  facility including blood bank, including ultrasound and CT scan.
5. To act as a free medical institution for needy ones.
6. To increase the beds more about 50.
7. To render facilities for conducting research activities relating to different
specialties, as and when required.
8. Last but not the least the hospital, as a measure for future expansion, in
response to the changing trend in hospital services, would also provide
facilities/services (clinical, diagnostic) of various other specialties in future
depending upon the real needs of the population.

Hospital equipments:
ECG Machine:
An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a test which measures the electrical
activity of your heart to show whether or not it is working normally.
An ECG records the heart's rhythm and activity on a moving strip of
paper or a line on a screen.

X ray machine:
X ray machine is the test which identifies whether the
bones are on fixed place or not. It produces an image on
metal film.

Challenges and causes:


1. Lack of 24 hour electricity supply to the hospital.
2. Lack of replacement of damaged health equipments.
3. Lack of fast and accurate travelling of vaccines.
4. Vacant post of health assistants and nurse as well.

Conclusion
As everybody is mortal, death cannot be ignored. It happens naturally but can
minimize the common health problem. As health is wealth , we cannot even
challenge our health through negligence .
Government should be aware of the health issues of people.
