Web Launchpad

This project came a little easier to me in the sense of knowing which websites to use. I
have previously done a ton of research on different learning programs for my own kids
to use. I used the ones that seem to work the best and were the broadest in the
material they taught. I did not know how to convert a word into a link or how to input an
image. By following your instructions, I was able to learn how to turn the word or
phrase into a direct link to the website. It will be beneficial to have learned how to do
that task in the future. I was also able to learn how to make the images custom to the
size I wanted.

Standard#1 1b: Students build networks and customize their learning environments in
ways that support the learning process.

I would use this assignment to get the students to do research on a certain subject
such as science or English that helps them get information on a matter. I would have
them post the link and write about the importance of the information gathered. Or to get
the links and practice copying and pasting URLs for basic computer skills.
