Online education decrease the quality of education
A common question about online education is if learning of online learners equals
that of students earning degrees in traditional settings. Because of online education has
become an increasingly popular medium in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and
we haven’t really conscious about the quality of online education. Then, why I compare
this information because the quality of education contributes to the maximum extent
possible to the social and economic development of our communities. I investigate
about online education and figure out that online education decrease the quality of
education. There are a lot of reasons that shows online education decrease the quality
of education. Some of them are that criteria educational performances.
First reason influencing online education score. Many researchers have reported
that online students earn lower exam scores and course grades than their face-to-face
peers enrolled in the same course. For example, institutions have little guidance
regarding how to develop and deliver high-quality online courses as a way to improve
the short-term outcomes of their online students. Several of those same studies found
that Black, Hispanic, and academically underprepared students, in particular, performed
significantly worse in online courses than face-to-face courses. While elementary
schools, many kids do not have experiences in the program of computer, so they is
easy to distract and don’t completed assignments. Also, children do not receive training
in computer programs. For example, my son is 6 years old, and he doesn't know how to
use Google classroom. Practically, I have to tell him what to do and neither do the
parents receive this training.
The second reason online education decrease the quality of education is
because of the motivation, and that causes discomfort for some online students. For
example, research has shown that students took online dropouts compared to their
peers who only enrolled in face-to-face courses. Consequently, studying alone with only
the computer as your companion can be terrifying. There's no commanding presence at
the front of the classroom pleading for everyone to listen. In additional, Teachers don’t
have prepared to give online class. Like teacher, Students don’t feel comfortable,
because the online environment is a much different atmosphere that takes some getting
used to. In my investigation, I interviewed my Canadian history teacher and he
expressed that “It's like talking on the air, many students have their cameras turned off,
and you cannot appreciate his bodily behavior because it shows if student understands
the class lesson”.
Finally, the third and the most important criteria that online education decrease
the quality of education is how affect in the job. Obviously, educational performance
also plays an important role in attaining competitive employment and making career
advancements. Online students are affected in the job market because job market
prefers students of popular colleges than online institutions. In the company, face-to-
face students manage schedules better in companies than online students. For
example, they have more experience in assignment at scheduled periods. Moreover,
traditional students have a workers’ daily routine and feel comfortable. Additionally,
online programs have more students than brick-and-mortar schools. As a result of
enrollment class, the face-to-face teacher can be more patience and detail with the
traditional students. When classes are taught in person, students volunteer to retain
more information in our brains. In short, the learning obtained is important because this
is reflected in their job performance.
I have said just some reasons of online education decrease the quality of
education, so I hope that now these weaknesses are taken into account to improve
online education. I know that education has been disrupted to cause the COVID-19
pandemic, and all students should watch online class. Currently, we are evolving with
the technology, but we cannot abandon face-to-face classes. In addition of all the

transform it into one.
