My name is Qalab-e-Abbas and I am an Assistant Professor at University of South
Asia. Together we would embark on a journey of exploring and understanding
modern business research methods.
In this course we would learn
1. Write a literature review that synthesizes and evaluates literature in a
specific topic area
2. Apply appropriate research design and methods to address a specific
research questions
3. Develop a research proposal
4. Present and defend a research proposal
This course is designed to provide students with the necessary skills and
knowledge to determine the information necessary to address and identify
research problem and, using this understanding, develop and use an actionable
research proposal. I am very confident that after this course students will gain an
understanding of relevant approaches and elements of undertaking a research
enquiry specifically to resolve impeding business problems.

As a teacher I believe that class room is a training ground not only in the field of study but many
aspects of life so my lectures will challenge you to think out of the box and critically evaluate the
environment so that we can identify opportunities to grow and learn. I am very excited to see you in
my class.
