We cannot deny the fact that Word has been a great help to us, especially to
you as students. Give at least 5 or more uses and/ or application of Microsoft
Word.
Reviewer
As a student Microsoft word helped me to do my reviewers Im able to make test of my own to practice
my mastery capability about the topic that Im reviewing. With Microsoft word I don’t need to write my
reviewers instead by just simply typing or copy paste.
Photo editing
Originally word is for text files and inserting pictures is more on appearance purposes to easily know or
Identify the topic or used for decorations. When I need to edit photos on computer or loptop devices I
always use Microsoft Word for editing because its tools are easier to use and its easy to print.
Script
As a student role plays are always present in our task. We use Microsoft word for script writing because
it is easier to use and easy to print. It helped us students to have more clearer and organize letters that
allows us to understand our topic more.
Survey
Microsoft word can also be use in making a survey. Making survey charts is hard because you need to
edit a lot of photos or shape and calculate them manually but with the help of Microsoft we can simply
click charts and Microsoft is the one whose in charged of computations and designs.
Share Files
In our present situations having class face to face is dangerous that’s why the government implement
the online class. Some teachers use Microsoft to be able to give us task or reviewer and also for us
students who use Microsoft word for making a file. Microsoft helped us to receive and send documents
even in the time of pandemic.
Without us noticing it, Microsoft Excel has been of great help to us especially to
those people whose job involves computation or data. Give at least 5 jobs/
works that makes use of Microsoft Excel. Explain how these jobs/ works make
use of Microsoft Excel.
Teachers
On computing grades a lot of teachers use Microsoft excel to easily identify the records and grades of
students. Based on my observation there are a lot of teachers who use Microsoft excel for class reports
like attendance and records. For computing grades microsoft excel can help our teachers to avoid
manual computing.
Retail store manager
My mom work as a manager and I observed that during her office time she always use microsoft excel
for the items list. My mom use microsoft excel to organize the items of retail or whole sale prize of the
stores product she can also easily search the items info by searching instead of looking in a pile of files.
Accountants
A lot of accountants use microsoft excel for calculating the financial statement. Microsoft word can be
used on calculation of percentage that can be a big help for accountants. Based on my research
Microsoft Word allow you to import and export banking information and financial data to and from
other accounting software platforms.
Cost Estimator
In some big building Cost estimator is the one incharged for computing the budget of the company. By
using microsoft excel they are able to compute the budget, business profits and tax of the companies.
School cashiers
When Im paying my tuition I always notice the school cashiers to use the microsoft excel. They use it to
eadily find the students information whether student is paid or to compute some discounts and to know
their records.
