REFLECTION

What went well? What would you do differently?

Altogether the events of the project progressed fortunately well
considering the pandemic in progress.
Nevertheless, we had no physical collaboration but we made most of
our video conferences. The things
that I would fancy to change would be –
Additional time for students to interact with each other for
activities.
Interval between activities should be elongated for the students as
they have classes going on
alongside EUMIND activities therefore increased time in activities
will benefit students’
productivity as well as profit them in future.
platform for the website creation (other than Weebly).
What did you learn?
Food Wastage and methods to decrease it.
technical stuff like in what manner to create a
website or a YouTube video.
groups, we reinforced skills that are
significant to both group and
individual work, including the ability to:-
1. Break complex tasks into parts and steps.
2. Plan and manage time.
3. Develop stronger communication skills.
4. Challenge assumptions
5. Enhance understanding through discussion as well as explanation
6. Exchange of feedback on performance

Reflection
“Save food at Home and School” was an amazing project. Project
worked very well. Interviews and communications were helpful
for each and everyone. It improved my interacting skills. Made me
more aware about how things work there. Coordination and
group work were epitome. We were connected through
WhatsApp and had a special classroom on google classroom for
all the material to be posted. I used google meet to connect with
authorities of supermarket. Our conference were made using
Microsoft Teams. Everything worked were very. All the works
were splendid and appreciable. Weebly page was used to present
our final work. It is user friendly and I personal liked it a lot.

REFLECTION OF FOOD
WASTE.
From this project I learnt that we need to save food. Food is very important in our life. If we
waste food it may affect our life cycle. We need to conserve it. If we have some food left
over we must give it to people who are in need of it. We should take food as per our need.
We do not have to take surplus food in plate and then waste it. If we waste food energy, hard
work, money is being waste. We are destroying our nature by wasting food. This project gave
me first hand experiences of trying variety of dishes and boosted my confidence level. I also
started reading articles related to the topic and realized how it affects our environment. The
nine tips which was part of our project was now part of daily routine. This encouraged us a
lot and it brought change in eating habits too. The other areas such as methods, technology
and team work was remarkable.
Points to stop wastage of food

 TAKE FOOD AS PER YOUR HUNGER.

 DO NOT THROW FOOD GIVE IT TO ANIMAL OR A NEEDY PERSON.
 TRY MAKING LIST OF ITEMS THAT YOU NEED TO BUY AND STICK TO
THAT LIST.
 STORE FOOD CORECTLY.
 TRY FOOD PRESERVATION METHORD.

Reflection
Food waste is a major part of the Impact of agriculture on climate
change, and other environmental issues.
It’s not always possible to prevent food waste from happening, so if it
does occur, then the best is to try and make use of it. There is
something called a food waste pyramid showing how best to dispose
of food that would otherwise be thrown into the bin. By reusing food
in various ways we can save the world’s precious natural resources.
Farmers, restaurants and supermarkets can give what they don’t sell to
food banks.
In developing countries, food is lost on farms or on the way to market
due to poor infrastructure and storage. In developed countries, food is
wasted at the retail level and by consumers.
All of us have to take action. Every country -- and every person --
needs to minimize food waste as a part of the fight
against poverty and hunger.
There is a lot at stake. People who don't consume adequate calories
can't live a full, active and productive life. In addition, about 2 billion
people in the world don't get enough micronutrients -- vitamins and
minerals that are essential to physical and intellectual development.
Malnourished children and adults won't reach their potential, and are
less able to escape poverty and help their nations to grow.

From this project, I have learned a lot. I realized how big of an impact one seemingly small
problem can have.
For example, food waste harms the environment, the economy, and people. By solving the
problem, it would help reduce the amount of food that needed to be made for the growing
population of the future and it could help feed people who are in need of food right now.
During this project,
I also learned how uninformed people are of the many issues around them. Although food
waste is a huge problem, not that many people even know how bad it is.
Spreading awareness is very important. By informing people of what is going on around them
can dramatically change the issues. Now that I know the effects of food waste, I am much
more conscious of what I throw away. Instead of throwing away leftover food, I will save it
for the next day. If I notice the bananas on the counter are starting to turn brown, I will be
sure to eat them before they would have to be thrown out. Overall, working on this project
has made me be very aware of the many problems around the world and how important it is
to do our part in helping.
