Instructions for Module 3 Project

1. Nature of Project: Statistics Paper


The purpose of this project is for you to perform actual statistical analysis. You may work
individually or as a group (maximum of 5 members per group).
2. Topic/Data Source
You may choose your data from any of (but not limited to) the following online sources:

figures/datasheets/
h) Or you may opt to collect your own data on a topic of your choice
3. Highlight
Focus on (i) graphical and numerical description of data, and (ii) correlation and
regression analysis

4. Documentation
Prepare 4-5 pages of document of your paper with the following parts:
i. Title
ii. Introduction/Background
iii. Discussion of Statistical procedures and analysis
iv. Results and findings
v. Conclusions
vi. References

5. Presentation
Prepare a 10-15 minutes presentation of results, recorded in video-audio format.

Note: Data in the manuscript should be presented in tabular form (with minimal graphical exhibit), but use
graphical visualizations of data in your video presentation.

6. Grading:
Format (10 points)
Submission Date (15 points)
Use of concepts and depth of discussion (40 points)
Overall Impact, Relevance and Quality of Paper (20 points)
Oral/Video Presentation (15 points)

7. Due Date: February 17, 2021, 11:59 PM.
