LINEAR REGRESSION

MULTIPLE LINEAR REGRESSIONS
KABABJEES
Results:
Multiple linear regression analysis was used to develop a model for predicting influences of physical
environment, staff behavior, brand passion & self-brand connection on Brand Loyalty. The four
predictors account for 66% of the variance in perceived state, F = 32.861, p<.05, R 2=.66. three out of 4
predictors were not showing statistically significant predictive beta coefficients Total physical
environment β1 = .205 p>.05, Brand Passion β3 = -.024 p>.05, Self-Brand connection β 4 = -.128 p>.05 with
b0 = .478 p >.05. Only Staff Behavior was showing statistically significant predictive beta coefficients β 2 = .

KOLACHI
Results:
Multiple linear regression analysis was used to develop a model for predicting influences of physical
environment, staff behavior, brand passion & self-brand connection on Brand Loyalty. The four
predictors account for 68% of the variance in perceived state, F = 35.221, p<.05, R 2=.68. three out of 4
predictors were not showing statistically significant predictive beta coefficients Total physical
environment β1 = .030 p>.05, Staff Behavior β2 = .222 p>.05 Brand Passion β3 = -.246 p>.05, with b0 = .478
p >.05. Only Self-Brand connection was showing statistically significant predictive beta coefficients β 4 =

INDEPENDENT T TEST:
An independent-samples t-test was conducted to compare the Brand Loyalty scores for males and
females. There was no significant difference in scores for females (M=27.62, SD=6.660) and males
[M=27.08, SD=7.311; t(138)=.455, p=.650]. since P value was greater than .05 level the result was not
significant and the magnitude of the differences in the means was very small (eta squared=.0015).
Eta: (.455)^2/(.455)^2+(66+74-2)

ONE WAY ANOVA
A one-way between-groups analysis of variance was conducted to explore the impact of income levels
on Brand Loyalty. Subjects were divided into Five groups according to their age (Group 1: less than
50,000; Group 2: 50000-70000; Group 3: 70000-90000, Group 4: 90000-110000, Group 5: 110000+).
There was a statistically significant difference at the p<.05 level in LOT scores for the five age groups
[F(4, 135)=3.85, p=.005]. Despite reaching statistical significance, the actual difference in mean scores
between the groups was moderate to large. The effect size, calculated using eta squared, was .11.
Post-hoc comparisons using the Tukey HSD test indicated that the mean score for Group 1 (M=21.36,
SD=4.55) was significantly different from Group 3 (M=22.96, SD=4.49). Group 2 (M=22.10, SD=4.15) did
not differ Significantly from either Group 1 or 3.
