REFLECTION ON 2021 School RPMS ORIENTATION FOR INSTRUCTIONAL

LEADERS

In line with the MEMORANDUM DM-PHROD-2021-0010 Guidelines on the

Implementation of the Results-based Performance Management System for
School Year 2020-2021 indicating the preparation for the initial activities of Results-
based Performance Management System (RPMS) for School Year (SY) 2020-2021
as one of the work priorities anchored on the operationalization of the Basic
Education Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP) and School Calendar and Activities for
SY 2020-2021.

The three-day seminar provided an avenue for us to improve and be the best of
ourselves as teachers in this New Normal Era. The teaching and learning had
changed at this time so there is a need to recalibrate our duties to our learners and
performance expected to us.

This seminar assisted teachers to adapt and respond more effectively to new issues
and circumstances associated with the challenges brought by the pandemic.

The speakers shared their knowledge regarding 11 priority indicators from the
Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers (PPST) chosen as RPMS objectives
for this school year and we were enlightened to know the changes and committed to
effectively practice what is taught to us in this highly informative seminar.

This seminar challenged us to be more flexible of the changes we are experiencing

and encouraged us to commit to our profession. It gave us room for improvement in
our duties and responsibilities and to grow professionally.
