ABSTRACT
Patients experience anxiety to computed tomography procedures due
to fear of pain or the negative past experiences of those around them.
Patients who experience a psychological reaction during a scan may
either discontinue the procedure altogether, refuse to undertake
Computed Tomography (CT) scan procedures in the future and may also
influence other patients needing at medical Computed Tomography (CT)
scan in the future.
The purpose of the study is to know the factors trigger anxiety
to the patients undergoing Computed Tomography (CT) scan and the
differences of male and female patients undergoing Computed Tomography
scan in Cagayan Valley Medical Center (CVMC). Radiologic
Technologists, Patients, Researchers, and Future Researchers were
regarded as beneficial to the study for additional knowledge because
this study is acknowledged to be a productive source of educational
foundation.
