INTRODUCTION
The first paragraph under any section or sub-section should not be given an indent. The
indent should be inserted for every subsequent paragraph. Follow the fonts given in this
template strictly, throughout the report.
The second paragraph started with an indent. All the paragraphs should be
justified (alignment).
All the reports should have an introduction section. The student has to give a brief
introduction to the project chosen, the problems relevant in the area and the solutions
already available, etc.

The second chapter goes on…
2.1 Section Heading
As mentioned earlier, the paragraph is started without an indent. The indent is given
from the second paragraph onwards.
The second paragraph starts here.
2.2 Section Heading

All the tables should be numbered as shown and given a description. The table and
its description should center aligned.
2.2.1 Sub-section Heading
First paragraph of the sub-section is not given an indent. The sub-section heading
should 12pt. size.
This is the second paragraph of the sub-section. All the equations in the report
should be entered using the equation editor feature available in the Microsoft word
package. All the equation should be center aligned and should be assigned a number
according to the format shown below.

60 A
The equations should be referenced as Eq. (2.1) when used in-between sentences
and should be referenced as Equation (2.1) when used in the beginning of the sentence.
It is preferred not to describe the variables in the equation here. It is a good practice to
define the variables in the nomenclature section.
