open the vegas pro 18 setup


select your language, click ok
untick "Advertising: install recommended software" (very important step)
left "Shortcut(s) on the desktop" ticked if you want a shortcut of Vegas Pro 18 on
your Desktop
choose your preferred destination folder for Vegas Pro 18, even if the default
install location is recommended if you want to install plugins in the future

then you're done!
